On Jan 22nd, the AIA Shanghai | Beijing has launched the 2021 AIA Design Awards Banquet in Langham Hotels of Shanghai.

Shanghai New Yangsi District Urban Design by EID Arch was selected from 51 finalists and won the Honor Award for Urban Design.

This project aims to create a development framework for Gaoqing district in Pudong Shanghai. EID Arch has developed master planning strategies to envision a large-scale mixed-use development integrated with landscape, open space and infrastructure. With total 2.2 mil sqm of development, this new 190 ha commercial district will consist of retail, office, hotel, school, park, residential neighborhood, and community amenities.

This project has become the winning scheme in the international competition. At present, the revision work of the regional control detailed plan is being pushed forward by the relevant planning departments.
