Zhangjiang AI Island Wins 2019 German Iconic Awards

Zhangjiang AI Island, designed by EID Arch, has won the 2019 German Iconic Awards in the Corporate Building category. Additionally, the Medog Meteorological Center has also been shortlisted for the award. The award ceremony will be held on October 9 in Munich, Germany. Zhangjiang AI Island aims to create a waterfront innovation cluster with diverse scales, offering a unique spatial atmosphere for the park, as well as research, experimental, and office spaces for technological innovation. The design rethinks the relationship between innovation office buildings and their environment. This design reflects the founding purpose of the Iconic Awards: to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and communicate the importance of architecture and design to the public.
