Ping Jiang Invited to Deliver Academic Lecture at AUD
On November 26, studio Founder and Principal Architect Ping Jiang traveled to the United Arab Emirates for an exchange event, invited by the American University in Dubai (AUD), the American Institute of Architects Middle East Chapter (AIA Middle East), and the AIA Student Chapter at AUD (AIASAUD). He delivered a keynote speech titled "Reimagining Environmental Identity." Through a range of projects, from high-rise buildings to urban interventions and civic structures, the lecture highlights a non-linear design process that blends spatial experience with cultural relevance and environmental sensitivity. It underscores the importance of forging a unique sense of place and identity in architecture, advocating for designs that resonate with both local and global contexts.

The American University in Dubai (AUD) was founded in 1995. As the first higher education institution in the Middle East and North Africa region to receive American educational accreditation, the university serves as a benchmark for higher education in the Gulf region and the broader Middle East.
