The Panda Pavilions Recognized as the Gold Winner for the Arcasia Awards for Architecture
On the evening of September 10, 2025, the ARCASIA Awards for Architecture 2025 ceremony was held in Incheon, South Korea. The Panda Pavilions received the Gold Winner, the highest honor of the awards. Principal Architect Ping Jiang was invited to attend the ceremony.
As one of the most prestigious architectural awards in Asia, the ARCASIA Awards for Architecture aim to recognize outstanding architectural works by Asian architects. This Gold Winner marks another highest honor for the studio since its Honorable Mention in 2020 for the Medog Meteorological Center. It is reported that the 2025 ARCASIA Awards comprised 13 awards across 7 categories, with a total of 30 projects receiving honors—including 10 Gold Winner projects, 17 Honorable Mention projects, and 3 Special Awards.
The Panda Pavilions has previously garnered over 20 domestic and international accolades, including the AIA Design Award, the WAN Gold Award, the Fast Company Innovation by Design Award, the LEAF Award, the Canadian Architect Award of Excellence, and the DFA Design for Asia Awards. It has also attracted extensive coverage from renowned global media outlets such as CCTV, CNN, The Architectural Review, Wallpaper, Domus, AD China, and IDEAT.
The project has been featured in international art exhibitions such as "The Song of the Earth: 2024 Beautiful China Chronicles Exhibition" and the "Beautiful China Special Exhibition in Korea." This November, The Panda Pavilions has been invited to participate in the World Architecture Festival (WAF) exhibition in Miami, USA. Stay tuned for more updates!
